I've never run into this problem before until this morning but when I use solview and select "ortho" then try to generate a view, it gives me the wrong view!
Anyone else ever have this problem? See the attached video.

I did end up solving this problem but can't remember how, and since then I've never had the same problem again.
A couple of things that came to mind when I was trying to remember what I did were
1. check your UCS. Make sure the UCS of the viewport you are pulling the view from is set to "view".
2. is the 3D model imported geometry? The part I was working on was imported geometry and it didn't want to cooperate with me very well. If I remember correctly I had to save it as a different file type then re-import it.
Let me know if you still have problems.

I'll check the UCS.
Geometry is not imported.
What I did was pick the opposite side of the view port I was generating the ortho from.
It worked but it's a pain because sometimes the ortho works correctly. I never know which side to pick on. It's a guessiing game.
If it doent't work... you've got to undo everything.

Sounds like your solview is generating a first angle projection instead of third angle. I don't know of any way to change that. Don't think I can offer any other help, sorry bro.
