We are running Acad 2005 on our CPUs with windows XP and on (1) of our computers all the fonts that are supposed to be solid are coming out clear. Is there a switch in Acad or windows that could be causing this?

Thanks to anyone that could help with this issue.
The TEXTFILL system variable controls whether true type fonts are displayed as outlines or filled images when plotting and rendering. Set to 1, they will show as filled images.

If you are using a TTF, then your view is probably set to a 3D wireframe rather than a 2D wireframe. (shademode)
