Plan Regions and Stairs below

Is there a problem with plan regions and stairs that are attached to a lower level? I have a stair that comes to a mezzanine type landing, and the stairs down to the landing display properly. The stairs up to the landing don't show up unless I change my view range. I can't change the range for the entire plan, so I tried to add a Plan Region with the appropriate (I think) settings, but the stair doesn't appear.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Can you post a screen capture of the stair? Or save the project so just the stair and surrounding walls are present and post that? View range issues are really hard to explain and understand without some supporting info...

That said, my experience with plan regions is that they must completely surround the entire stair to affect them. If the plan region cross over some part of the stair it won't alter how it is cut.
