I,m using a 3DConnexion Cadman 3-d controller, and find that if I now have to use a computer without one, it's as if someone cut off my left hand. Are you using one? If not, why? If yes, what do you think?

Mostly it's cost, and weight.

Most of my time is spent on a laptop, and I don't use one with it because it's another thing to lug around. I know they make smaller ones, but I'm too lazy/cheap to spend the money.

I have an older one I intend to hook up to my computer at home (the proverbial tomorrow that is).

I realize it's a vicious circle. I'd like it if I'd learn to use it, but because I'd have to carry it around with a laptop, I never learn to use it..... Maybe tomorrow I hook up the one I have. :-)
