Is it possible to make a fence using a railing style? I have set up all the parts for a board on board fence. I would like it to be 8'-0" high. Even though I set the guardrail at that height, the elevation created using the elevation callout is only 3'-0" high

Can you post the drawing and I will have a look at it. There are lots of example fence styles that come with ADT 2006 look in:

Ever think about using a curtain wall? I have done bunches of atypical things using a "none" infill and messing with frames and mullions and profiles. Only because I have tinkered with curtain walls more than railings. But you may find it easier depending on what you are trying to accomplish. Can also manage the material definitions at this level -easier for me, but perhaps you are stronger with railings.

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought to try that!
