Image not Importing

I have been trying to import an image of an existing floor plan for the last hour or so and it will not appear for some reason. Probably not holding my mouth right or something like that...I go to Import/Link <Image and then select the jpeg from the folder and voila...nuthin'! What am I doing wrong?

How large is the file and how much ram are you operating with? I have noticed Revit uses alot of memory for handling images. Might be your running out of physical and/or virtual memory.

Oh, I forgot to mention I did do the left-click thing. Am I not supposed to see some dots showing the limits of the image? Not seeing those either...

I have 1 gig of RAM, and the image is about 5.5 mb in size. I would think the size is manageable but have been wrong once today already.

I finally got it to work...apparently it was a size issue. I scaled the image down by 90% and it came in just fine. Thanks for the help!
