Hi,

I've made a family for an elevator, made from scratch from a dwg I downloaded from the elevator's company. It works perfectly but in the project, if I put the underlay to a top level, in which that family is, I get all the dwg lines to appear as well.

I can go to visibility settings and simply shut it all off, but I would like to know if there's any other way to do it and to remove once and for all all that dwg info from the family.

Attached are the image of part of said underlay and the elevator family.

I took a look at the elevator family... I didn't see any autocad lines - I only see the old autocad layers. Are those what you want to be rid of? Go to menu: Settings > Object Styles... and just delete them. I guess it's just a little unclear to me what you're trying to achieve...

Well, I just copied the same elevator plan on all floors.

Irusun's suggestion worked just fine for what I wanted. I will quite likely add dwg details to the family later on, but as it is it ends up messy.
I'll probably add those later on.

Feel free to use the elevator family if you want to. It works quite well :D
