There is a thread in the ACAD section asking for a way to delete all the hard returns in MTEXT.

Is there a way to do this in Revit? It drives me nuts when I go to adjust the width of the text annotation box and the text does not adjust. :banghead:

I sort of doubt there is an easy way...but thought I would ask...

I sort of doubt there is an easy way...but thought I would ask...Would it be acceptable to paste the text into Word and use find replace? I typically work on large bodies of text in word and paste them into a text object in Revit anyway so it doesn't bother me to do this. Not intuitive perhaps...

Nah...that's more work than editing the text in Revit. I refer mostly to notes in details and sections...which can really add up over a whole set of drawings. I think the problem is that most people don't realize they can preset the size of the text box before typing, which will then initiate the text wrap feature. If they just click once for a text box, typing without a return will produce a single line of text that can go on endlessly. Perhaps a wishlist item for a default text box width...?
