View Full Version : suppressed zeros

I am using 6.0 and have come to notice that my dimensions are not suppressing the zeros. I have the project settings > units > zeros suppressed checked off? I also tried changing it within the dimension style itself. No dice?
Is there another setting that I am not aware of to do this?

Do you mean your temp dims or your 'real' dims? In 6.0, it's now made such that the temp dims are always as exact as they can be, and the 'real' dims follow the units standard set, IIRC.

My real dimensions of course!
I am wondering if because this dimension style was imported from 5.1?
I will have to try and create a new one native to 6.0 to see if it works.

Les,
Could this be a 5 to 6 conversion issue? I tried it using both settings (global project setting and within the dimension style) and both worked fine.
Only other thing I can think of is that you're working in metric
PS What happened to your nice CDN flag avatar?

Too fast guys! Two posts to the same thread while I'm looking at it. I guess I have to set the refresh on my browser to 10 seconds.

That's what I figure. It's got to be a 5.1 to 6.0 thing.
p.s. I still have the CND flag! I just get a little fickle with my avatar

I've tried starting with fresh dimension out of 6.0 and they still do not suppress the zeros in my permanent dimensions.
Any ideas?

Les,
It would be helpful if you could post screenshots of your project's Units (Length) settings as well as of any dimension unit overrides.
