Best method to bring 3D DWG in REVIT

We have an interiors project and have couple 3D dwgs from the furniture people and I wanted to insert those into my REVIT project as a 3D. What is the best way to do this ?

create a new furniture family and import it in there, then create symbol lines for the plan representation, then pick on the 3d dwg and click visibility and turn it off in plan.
