Object data tables

My search of this topic found some issues that I share the frustration with. However, instead of wishing for one thing or another, I want to be able to treat an object data table separately to manipulate as I want for calculations, copies, and the like. The current job would be much easier if I could just export the table into Access and do what needs to be done and place it back into the DWG and have it maintain its relation the the original entities. But why not use a DB engine within ACAD to do this??

You can create an access database using MAPOD2ASE ( or under the Map menu "Convert Object Data to Database links...").
