Help! Note Block/Tag help quick!

I have a note block setup for interior wall finishes I want to link the tags back to the note block so if P-1 changes to PT-1 all the tags will change. I got this to work fine with exterior elevations but they are under generic annotation category...where as I put these under the wall category, is this why I can't get it to work or am I just missing something stupid? Thanks!

Is it not the label that you can change from mark to type mark?
you should also be able to change it in the schedule

I need the tag to read the Key Name under the subcategory of walls. It is renamed NO. in the schedule

I think I did it bass ackwards, I should have created the tags first and then made a note block from that....I think....ughh
