Why?!? Why do I get the projects started in Revit 4.x?

I have a project with three floor levels. Level 1 West wall is cast in place conc 16" thick. Level 1 South wall is Brick on Metal stud (12" thick").

Level 2 and level 3 south and west wall is the same Brick on Metal Stud.

The CIP 16" wall is to align with the south walls face of brick. If I keep the south wall 1/128" from the west wall everything on that level is fine. Then if I try to put another south wall on top of that it screws up my walls below and my second level walls do not join properly.

Yes I have tried to edit the elevation profile but tha still does not work.

I can get this to work in a NEW 6.0 project.

I am going insane.

I can't seem to reproduce this problem from your description. We're very interested in collecting examples of wall join problems. Could you attach a .rvt file with your example? I'll see if I can help you fix the problem or alert the developers if there is a bug. If you can make it as small as possible, that would be great. Thanks.
