Has this bug been fixed in 8.1?

I'm trying to use the "ramp with curb profile railing" technique to model the streets around my site, and keep coming up with that warning, which results in the curb going completely wacky. I've seen this thread (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=19224&highlight=INACCURATE+DIRECTION) which addresses the issue, and I've tried the true north/project north switch, with no success. Has anyone found any other successful workaround?

I still get this error when drawing lines in site plan. Annoying, but I haven't had any problems with it that are noticeable.

From my experience, this occures when one of the lines is VERY NEAR an particular position as horizontal or vertical.
To resolve it try to rise the accurate of the units of the project to 8 or 10 decimals.
I wrote about inaccurate lines in this thread

From my experience, this occures when one of the lines is VERY NEAR an particular position as horizontal or vertical. That's not the case in my current problem - the linework that I'm using to define the ramp boundary is nowhere near horizontal or vertical in either the Project North or the True North orientation.

You, my friend, are my hero. Indeed that does, after a couple more tries, at various different zoom levels - weird.

Thanks!

Has anyone from the factor told us what is up with this. I have some views that even long lines give this error. While I'm creating filled regions, each line segment gives this error.

I've gotten this error message frequently too, since 8.0. I guess Revit's trying to tell me a line is almost parallel to something already there. It's pretty annoying--kind of like assumed relationships between model features I never intended.

I see it especially often when picking lines from reference autoCAD drawings.
