Initially I set up my project so that project north was the top of the page. True north is a few degrees to the west. This worked out very well for Schematics. However, moving toward CD's the project would fit much better if North were to the right of the page. I would like to be able to maintain the current orientation for the site / landscape sheets.
Is it possible to rotate 'project north' and not true north? I have looked through the help section and am unclear what to do now.

..sounds like you may need to set up a "fake" true north.

If you just want to make the views fit a sheet better, you can just rotate the views in question.

In any view (plan view) that you want to rotate, go to view properties, turn on a crop region, zoom out & select the crop region border, pick "rotate", and then either drag it around or type in the angle. Keep in mind that the project will rotate the opposite way. If you enter 90 degrees, the project will rotate 90° clockwise.

Then adjust the boundry to fit the rotated view, & turn it off.

Thanks Andrew, that was a very helpful tip. Maybe this one should be in the Tips & Tricks forum.

Just on the rotating part. I struggled with this for a while trying to figure it out with the 'Rotate this Project / True North' command.

For those that have trouble with this, think of it as an 'align' command for rotate.
For example, if I had a building on a weird angle and I wanted the back of the building to be horizontal. Start the rotate command. Then select the direction you want your building to rotate to, in this case horizontal. Then swing the reference arm of the rotate command to the angle of the wall that you want horizontal. That made sense didn't it.
