Does anyone know where I can get some AutoCAD posters to put up in our new training room? The room is going to be used for other training but I do the CADD training and I would like to spruce up the room and give it a CADD flair. I already have paper airplanes but something on the walls would be great.

You might want to try asking your reseller. I'm sure they would have access to them and more than likely happy to share.

one of the instructors for a local trade school sent me a picture (http://mistressofthedorkness.blogspot.com/2005/07/going-going-xref-filter.html)of his cool wall decoration, which was a collection of old autodesk product cd's mounted in a frame... and, as he told his students, he firmly ground the back with sandpaper, so don't bother trying to steal the cd's.

what sort of posters are you thinking about? most cad classrooms I see have students work, or the autocad samples plotted out and hung on the wall.

My office and meeting room walls are mainly adorned with plots that just look cool...

That "picture" made up of old CDs is a cool idea.

I am looking for some flashy posters to jazz up this otherwise dreary training room. We have plots and renderings of various projects (old and new) hanging on the walls of the office space. I am trying to generate some excitement about the AutoCAD training I will be doing in this room (mostly to a group of MicroStation users). When R14 came out I got a glossy poster of the splash screen or something like it. It was either mailed to me or came in the box. Ahhhh for the days when software came in a box with stuff included.

I have a "User Interface Overview" chart that came with ABS and it has a wonderful graphic of a rendered building on the side of it. Something like that would be great. I contacted Autodesk today but have not heard back yet and I have not gotten in touch with my reseller. I was just hoping that someone out there would know of a source.

Thanks for your reply.

Print some of the sample drawings supplied with AutoCad.
I remember one year there was a really good drawing of a motorcycle.
Who doesn't like something fun??
