When we issue a sheet with a revision it gets a cloud and a delta1. Now let's say we issue it again, this time with cloud and a delta2. I would like to turn OFF the cloud that refers to the delta1 while still retaining the delta1 symbol. Is there a way to do this that I am not aware of? Thanks.

have you gone to Settings>Revisions
You can switch off the visiblity of preceeding revisions

Yea,
When I uncheck the visibility, both the cloud AND the delta symbol go away. I would like to keep the delta on the sheet.

:?: possible work around could be to do a filled white region over the delta.
However if you do know how to edit families, possibly open the delta family change the display
(ie redraw as a blank family) save as new "delta family" and select that to be the new type for the specific one you want to hide.

Perhaps I am not being clear. I WANT all deltas to remain on the sheet. I want ONLY the current revision CLOUD to be shown on the sheet.
ie...if I have had 3 revisions on a particular sheet. I would like to see all 3 delta symbols but only delta3's revision cloud.
I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help.

Easiest way would then be to hide all rev clouds and use drafting lines to depict the one rev cloud you want shown...

I've seen people use a filled region off the sheet and move the older clouds under the filled region. I totally agree that older revision clouds need to be able to be hidden -- a category for each revision.
Hmm - I'm going to go ahead and get myself to see if someone has wished for that already...

Indeed it has.

I'm curious...is there really a need to keep the clouds in the Revit file? Typically we just keep hard copy records of previous revisions since the computer file is always changing and being updated. I also like to show previous Deltas on the sheet, but usually delete the clouds of previous revisions once a new one is out for that sheet.

We have this very same issue. We have brought it up at advisory meetings and the Factory knows about it. In the mean time we are placing a generic delta over the top of all the regular deltas to get the result we want. It is a PITA but it works.
