This was originally rendered in AutoCAD 2005, I took it into Photoshop and fooled around with it a bit, this is the result, I call it Peppermint Fresco

most definitely, its seems to have been the inspiration for most of my work, ill post a few more of my projects in the comming days, unfortunatly i seem to have lost some of my best stuff.>-(

This drawing was really cool, could I see a shot of just plain linework, before it was cool-ified?

3D, the lighting was the most difficult, but I've had a lot of practice with colored lighting, I find that it really adds a little something extra to the project.

cool... so, you have a light source behind part of this to give the rendering that look?
thanks for posting that second shot, helped my eyes make more sense of the first one. ;)

Theres actually a dull blue point light right in the center of the figure, you may be able to see where i subtracted a ball out of the middle.
