Just started using Revit on this new contract, so please be patient with me. The particular problem I have at the moment is that the objects drawn on the Ground floor Level are visible on the First Floor level even after putting in the first floor floor. This is a bit confusing for me. is there a way to "turn off" the ground floor walls etc., without turning off the first floor walls?

goto view properties and set your view range

Thanks for reply, but doesn't seem to work.

In the GF view the View Range is as follows:-

Top -- Associated Level (Ground) -- offset 2300.0

Cut Plane -- Associated Level (Ground) -- offset 1500.0

Bottom -- Associated Level (Ground) -- offset 0.0

In the FF view the View Range figures are the same. The FF level is 2800 and the thickness of the floor is 350

Any advice will be most appreciated.

Just figured it out - Underlay - None

Thanks again

In View Range, the primary range numbers sound right, what is the view depth number? change it to 0.

In View propeties, check the Graphics:Underlay parameter - is the lower level underlayed?

Cut a section and see if the walls on the ground floor are attached to the first floor or if they extend through it.
If they extend through it, you just need to select them and attach them to a level or the to the floor itself.
