This is a message I sent to Autodesk out of frustration, I'm not sure which forum it goes in.

I have had a lot of program crashes this year. In the past when a session crashed, an .err file was generated. This at least let me know what happened even if I did not understand. These files are no longer generated. Even worse, a pop-up shows and asks if I would like to save my file to (file name)recover.dwg, I say yes, a file is generated. In 100% of the times when this file is generated, the file has 0 kb, it's empty. WHAT GOOD IS THAT?
Also, another pop-up says it is sending a "report" of the problem to Autodesk. At first I put in contact info
but when you did not contact me, I quit.
I THINK IT'S ALL A HOAX AND AUTODESK COULD CARE LESS IF MY FILES CRASH 2 TIMES A WEEK !! DO YOU CARE ?? IF SO, RESPOND.

Tom,

In my experience, you'll get nowhere sending your support issues to Autodesk. However, I have found our dealer (CVIS) very willing to spend time helping us resolve problems - which, I'm sorry to say, have been pretty numerous with AutoCAD. You might have better luck getting support from your dealer than directly from Autodesk.

Tom, I'm going to move this thread from the OS forums to this one, as I think it would be better served here.

Thanks.
