I am trying to model a compound angle wall that is between some trusses. I am having trouble getting an in place wall family to show correctly. I attached some images showing what the wall should look like on plan section and 3d as well as the trusses that the wall spans between.

I am trying to get a reference plane to align with the angle between the trusses in plan and align with the angle of the truss columns in section. Anybody have a good way the accomplish that? I attached the Revit file to see if there are any good ideas.

What kind of wll is it ?
I would use a curtain system by lines.

You need blends for this one!

Good one to, so you then convert to standard wall using 8.1

That seems to work. I will post the results.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Wes it appears yours may work, but each bay would need to be different and seems like much more work.

Thanks

Oh yeah -- it's manual labour! But when you think about it, how else are you going to define the geometry? That's what you get for designing such obtuse architecture

Looks like a cool design BTW -- looking forward to seeing the results
