What is the best way, if any, to make the elements that are beyond a building or wall section still appear but have a 'half-tone' or lighter appearance?
For example....in the attached file I would like to have the brick and the window on the lower left of the section be greyed out. I would still like to see it however so adjusting the clip plane would not be an option.
Thanks.

Just an idea - I haven't tried it...
Make your primary section have a far clip of a small distance, say 1'-0" or so. Make another section in the same place with a far clip that includes the whole building. In this section, set Display Model to "as underlay". Then on the sheet, simply place the two views coincident on top of one another. Leave one with a conventional view title. Give the second a view title that does not display.
Post back if it works to your liking.

Under the Visibility/Graphice overide, just set all projection lines (for all geometry) to a gray color, leave the cut lines black, do it once, make it a view template of it, and away we go...
