I want to dimension an axon view to show building height setbacks....is there an easy way of doing this?

I want to dimension an axon view to show building height setbacks....is there an easy way of doing this?
I believe you can only dimension to items in the same work plane, so as long as that is set correctly there is nothing particularly tricky about it.

While in 3d view set up a work plane. Then you can create dimensions paralell to this plane. You can then change work plane and create a different set of dimensions.
