Pasting objects from the clipboard

I have a question about copy and paste. I need to convert several walls and windows to Design Options. When I cut (ctrl+x) a wall from the standard layout and I go to paste it in the design option, is there an easy way to paste it in the exact same place without having to use the mouse?

Use the "Edit" Pulldown menu and go to "Paste Aligned".
From there, choose "Same Place".

Edit>Paste Aligned>Same Place

This should do the trick.

By the way, for this situation you can also use Add to Option Set instead of Cut/Paste. A dialog lets you choose which options in the option set to add the elements to.
