View Full Version : Any way to draw an arc by tangent, tangent, radius?

I used to make use of an autocad command where I could draw a circle using two tangent points and a radius. Any thoughts on how to obtain this same functionality?

I'm making an extrusion in a family where I have three consecutive arcs. I can draw the arc on either end, but to get the middle arc to be tangential to both the end arcs is beyond me right now.

Create the two outer arcs. Use the Fillet Arc tool to join create an arc between them.

There is also a tangent arc linetype. If you are drawing an arc that is tangent to both arcs, the radius is determined by the first two arcs.
