Structural Joists appearance in plan view

I have some bar joists in my model. I am trying to change their appearance in a plan view. Currently they show as a half-tone line. I want them to show up as a solid black line. I have tried looking in visibility/graphics and in the object styles but cannot find anything that changes the appearance. Can anyone help?

Go into your view and go to view properties then to view range make sure the top depth is at the highest level, the bottom at the level that is at 0'-0" (ex. First Floor Plan), then set the cut line to the same depth and make sure 0'-0" is in all boxes for offset and the top offset box should be set to the height of your joists.
