Good morning everyone:
We ran into a problem yesterday that brought work on the Texas Heart Hospital to a stand still. This morning, we were able to isolate the problem and fix it. The problem lay with AutoCAD linked files. There was one file in particular that we causing every copy of out project file to crash upon opening (both local and central). The alleged culprit ACAD file had an additional XREF attachment in it. Once the attachment was removed, all files opened properly.
Please be sure that the files you reference into Revit have:
No additional XREFS
been PURGED (Purge All command)
3rd party filters removed
3rd party apps removed
In summary - BE CAREFUL WHEN USING AUTOCAD LINKED FILES.
