Hi

Can you please explain a little more...

Are you referring to -

The physical screen on the HP 700 output device

OR

Plot screening ie. ID: TS45373 - Set up plot screening (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?id=2876104&linkID=2475323&siteID=123112)

Have a good one, Mike

Hi RCA4697

Please note that I have moved this thread from the AutoCAD Plotting forum to this one. I believe it would be better suited here.

Thanks

Do you have some kind of service or maintenance agreement on it? This would be something you would need a trained technician to handle. Sounds like they would have to open up the the plotter and replace the screen with a new one. No idea how much this would cost if you don't have a warranty or contract on it already. It might be cheaper to get a new one.

HP 700 is no longer eligible for HP Care Pack service, so you are at the mercy of your local HP service tech's hourly rates. I did find the part you need, and it's available in a few places online for around $65.

Here's the info:

HP part # C3195-60038, Hewlett Packard, DesignJet Plotter, 700 Series, Front (Control) panel and cable assembly - Includes function buttons and display.

You just replace the whole panel, including the control buttons.

Hope this helps,
Marc
