Loss of F2 rename function (please bring back)

I have noticed that the F2 rename function on the Project Browser items has disappeared.
Maybe I have done something wrong, but it still works on my v8.0.

Can we please have this back?

This is kind of funny, because I kept hitting F2 as well with no results - I figured it must have just been my imagination that F2 use to work in the Project Browser. Bring back F2!

I just remembered something: when you clicked F2, the text you were entering in would get really flaky -- it wouldn't quite display right and it could trip you up as you edited the view name. My bet is that they killed F2 to nix this problem.

However, F2 is the Windows defacto way to rename something. "If" logic rules (per Irwin's post), then selecting the F2 button to rename "should" be The Revit Way.

I'm used to F2 renaming from other applications too. Bring back F2!

Please bring it back, and fix the renaming glitch when that view name is being renamed while being the current view (bold text), also, make it standard for renaming not only floorplans & elevations, but also for sheets (bringing out the rename dialog box in this case because there are two fields) and for all types of views, legends, groups, etc., this shortcut key helps you avoid the anoying extra one second of rigth clicking, finding the option rename from a 12 items pop up menu (this is where you loose more time, some times adds up two more seconds) and selecting it.
