I would like to be able to automatically renumber views on a page.
Either in a sequential left to right and top to bottom format or pick each view individually.

Good one...same for grids, items in schedules and Room Numbers (I guess that can be done with schedules, though, so...)

Ahh yes. Definitely the same for those other items too.

I think you can do the individual renumbering right now. Just double click on the view # and change it to something not in use.

Yes, but to reorder a bunch of detail numbers, you have to set some to numbers higher than the amount on your page and then back track and start renumbering from where you want., going back to change the ones you made higher...pain in @$$. I think it would be nice to just be able to renumber based on horiz or vert alignment or something.

I believe an older wish list item describes a renumber feature that allows you to pick several items in the order you wish to number them provide a first number and done.
Alternatively the method used to label contours is pretty slick too...if you could draw a multi-segmented fence through the objects that need renumbering and provide the first number that would be nice.
Bottom line, renumbering happens more often than we'd care to admit, so a tool to make it easier would be wonderful.
