Hello,
In this forum concrete rebas detailing is hardly mentioned.
Are there any examples of CD available to see what's possible with RS.
What is the experience of this drafting and scheduling tool in RS ?
Thanks in advance for any input.

No CD examples as yet. ( Revit Structure is not released here till next week .)
Rebar is placed in host beams, columns and slabs in a cross section view. There are two methods of placement, the first sketches lines in the plane of the rebar, producing an instance having the properties of the rebar type selected. The second is used to place rebar in the section such that its length is perpendicular to the section and governed by the length of the host element in which it is placed. Rebar end points can be edited. Ties and stirrups can be sketched around placed rebar. Fillet hooks and bends are based on the bend diameter type parameter.

I'm sketching out some Rebar at the moment, now my Rebar in plan (I'm doing a column) is about the right size i.e. correct diameter, but when i add a link (Stirrup) to it it just sketches it as a single line. In properties it tells me how thick the line is but now where can i find on the properties or detail levels will it drawm me a bar the correct size?
Anyone else had problems with it?
Also Why can I not select a Rebar by its diametewr and move it? It is a circle isn't it?
Also for those of you on the Beta 3 version there is now another button under rebar called Sketch Area Reinforcement, If I find out what it does i will let you know
