Parametric Rotation in Family

I'm creating a Family that has an internal group that I need to be able to rotate to a user specified angle. I'm not certain how to proceed. I've attached the family file. I need to be able to rotate tile blower cover group independent of the entire family.

Look at using a Reference line with a rotation angle parameter. Geometry that is to rotate should then be locked to this reference line. I don't know if a group can be locked to this reference though.

It can. However rotating a group with parametrics will burn up some horsepower. Not to mention they get very picky. I suggest using a nested "blower cover" part inside a blower assembly family. Performance should be much better.

I was trying this with a sink in a counter top. Nested is the only way to go.
