Is there a reason why when you add a leader after annotation placement. . .say a keynote. . .that the leader starts so far from the center of the annotation that it attaches to?

It depends what the keynote shape is, revit looks for the extents of the geometry and starts there.

sorry, I wasnt quite clear enough . . .I understand that part, but I'm talking about the "arrow" end of the leader.

Yes, now I know what you mean and it is quite annoying, I think its set to a larger scale detail view in which they start about the right size. My guess is they set the length thinking the majority of annotations were on larger scale views.

:o Ohhhhhh Geeeeeeeeez.... :screwy: I hope they didn't really think that. Don't you think it should "read" the scale of the view"
