Match Line/ Copy Problems

So I have set up two Callouts of my floor plan in order to set a match line and ultimately break up my drawing. However the callouts do not seem to copy over annotations except for grids and sections. I was able to go back to the key plan and copy those items I needed and paste them in the callout. This worked once but now every time I try to copy it says I cannot copy elements. Does rotating a drawing give you problems on copy and paste. I don't know what I can do to get these annotations to transfer to the callout. Any suggestions.

I've copied over information just fine between views. Did you rotate the drawing or just rotate the view? And also, are you filtering out items so that you only copy annotation items?

In addition, when you make your selection, be sure NOT to use the "Select All Instances" from your screen menu. This will also generate the same error message.

I am just rotating the view.

I did it just fine with the main level. Its my upper level that is giving me trouble.
