Wall tag in Detail View

I'm trying to tag a wall in detail view but it's impossible to do this in Revit. I always tag walls on sections in my projects. Roofs don't have tag at all. Can anybody just explain the idea of developers why they decided to tag curtain walls, floors, windows etc. and refuse to tag some other objects? What is the criteria for the choice? I believe that Revit must allow to tag every model object in all views.

I don't ever use detail callouts for plans for this reason, they are very limiting. Just use a real callout.
