Being a first time user I am not sure where to post this request for help.
I receive an error message when Converting MNS files To CUI File.
The message is MNU/MNS Conversion Failed
Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have read the answer to CAD Tip # 4482. However I am having trouble understanding
where to & what to change in my MNS files. These MNS files work just fine in AutoCad 2005. I guess I do not understand the vocabulary in the CAD TIP # 4482 Answer.
Thanks for the help Fin

Hi Fin,
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the New Forum Users (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=47) Forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.
Below snippet is from the small print on the Forum General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=44) page (also refer to attached image) -

Can you please point us (me) in the direction (location) of CAD Tip # 4482 so we (I) can see what it says.

Hi Mike,
I have been searching the internet for a few days and came upon this www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?tip=4482
I thought it was part of the AUGI tips but I now see that it is a different forum.
This is the first time I have tried to use the internet for this kind of support. I have always relied
on local friends.
I even asked Autodesk Subscription for help & to my surprise they did a very good job quickly.
They acknowledged the problem.
They converted my MNS files for me and sent me back the CUI files & stated that service pack MDT2006 SP! would be released soon to address the problem.
Thanks every one for your help. Fin

Hello and a belated welcome from me :)
We (I) hope you enjoy it here on AUGI.
Is it fair of me to presume you now have your "MNS to CUI" issue / problem fixed and no longer require assistance / help on this particular matter?

Man I really feel like I'm falling behind the times. I still using 2002. Wish my boss would get a move on with this technology.

Trust me. Don't get in any hurry. 2006 has some issues. Although the service pack did help.
