Guys,
This probably seems like a very silly question and expecting the answer to be very simple and feel like an idiot.

For the life of me i can't seem to generate an attribute that will contain multiple words with spaces between them ?

Eg: I am trying to make a Title Block Template as i am a draftsman.
I wish to make an editable block containing all the tittle block info such as the job #, drawing #, scale, drawn by etc.
When i have greated the attribute and then try to edit it with say the drawing name being a couple of " Mechanical Services".
It wont accept the space between the Mechanical & Services saying "The Tag cnnot be null or contain spaces."
I have looked in the book and either not asking the right question or i am right in saying it doesn't explain it in much depth ?

If anyone could assist i would be greatly appreciative.

Regards

Stephen

Hi

Attribute Tags can not contain spaces, take a look at the attached screen capture for further information.

Below is extracted directly from the AutoCAD Online Help File [F1] -

Identifies each occurrence of an attribute in the drawing. Enter the attribute tag using any combination of characters except spaces. AutoCAD changes lowercase letters to uppercase. If you require further assistance on this, please post your drawing file so we can talk you though the process...

Trying to set the templet file out in the same format.Hi

Explode Block "Text-A1" (Attribute Block) to see how it is made up.

Try the following tutorials...

Within the Online Help File read up on things like...

Blocks with Text should be Burst rather than Exploded. That's if you should ever have to take a block apart.
