Can someone tells me what's going on? What I have here is a Slab Edge joined with an exterior wall. I did it this way so I could get my exterior material (modular limestone in this case) to run by the slab. I have checked and re-checked my line weight overrides in this view and can't find what is controlling this particular thickened line at the join. ALL Common Edges are set to 2 as are the floor and wall cut lines. I can't figure out why it is doing this. Plese help...

You could always use the linework tool to overide and fix that, just make sure someone else diddnt use the linework tool and create the problem first.

Linework won't work, plus...it happens all ALL 40+ sections I have thru the building. Would like to avoid editing everyone. I have tried to stick to overriding the object styles and then creating a view template.

Can somebody let me know how to create a new post/thread in AUGI. I had been struggling for it and so far unable to figure it out. Thanks.

There's a HUGE button on the previous page that says 'NEW THREAD'. Get on it.

Click on 'Revit Building - General' to take you to the previous screen. Then click NEW THREAD in the upper left.

What about my question?

Ok, if this is happening that frequently stay away from the linework tool if you can avoid it. I thought it was just this one section. Could you post the file, or just the section of the prject that the section os cut through?

Looks like an ACAD remnant. Any dwg files used to lay the section out, or perhaps a dimension line, etc in same area? The thing that's weird is that the thickness does not match the slab thickness, thus a flag that there's something else occuring at this location. If it was simply the line weight the entire slab edge would reveal this same issue.
Or is this slab topped with a second slab?

No ACAD remnant here. The file is pushing 200mb so uploading it will be a problem. A workaround for now is that I bumped up all line weights to 3 so it hides it a little better. ust not sure why it is like that on EVERY section.

It is held 1/2" off of Core Face : Interior.

It is held 1/2" off of Core Face : Interior. What does it look like when it isn't offset? I'm not sure what you "want" it to look like at this point. A single line or two discreet lines?

I would like it to read the same thickness (single line) as everything else.

If you switch to thin line mode is there just one line there or 2 slightly offset?

1 Line. It is a floor with an edge slab that has been joined to a wall.

OK to avoid the 200 meg problem...
start a new project
copy the wall and slab that show up in the section you posted the screen cap of.
paste this into the new project
take a section of it - still the same?
purge and post the new project. We shall take a look see...

What is the "slab edge"? I don't see a profile, check object styles, of the slab edge maybe its set to a heavier lineweight. Is it really needed? why not just make your floor go into the face of core?

Thanks all,
Finally, I got it. Actually I am so used to News Readers, so was really struggling. Thanks once again.
Hey by the way I am enjoying go through all these threads. But am not sure where to start from, being a novice user of Revit.
Cheers
