Loading truss family from Revit City

I downloaded a truss family from Revit City and tried to load the truss into the project. Looked fine and then clicked Component in the regular or structural tool and nothing comes in the Type Selector bar does not show the truss.

Anyone experienced this as well?

It was probably created as something other than a struct family , check just components. Or you can allways just drag and drop it from the project browser or windows.

Open the family; go to family category and parameters and check what type of family it is...

I've had a similar problem with other families. I had to find it in the browser and then drag it onto plan to place it. I'm Not sure why this happens.
