Map Options

I would like an option to make all the project options effectively system options so that any new or reopened projects take on these options.

I would also like a profiles tab like on the standard Options dialog so I can Import and Export Map Options.

Currently I set all my Map System Options with VBA at startup and the Project Options with VBA when a drawing is created or opened. My 2 wishes would simplify things.

I believe an ini file is created that contains all the setting for MAP. You should be able to copy that file to other system to give them the same settings. Would be nicer if there was an export option.

Hi Glenn and ntaylor,

The acadmap.ini will save all of the "Default" settings, but it will also generate each login user's settings in a separate section of the INI. It will help to place a copy of your Default bare-bones ini in the project folder and then direct Map to look in that folder for the settings, but if a user, say, doesn't like the Project Workspace to show on startup, they can turn it off and that will be appended to the INI under thier profile. A fine line to tread, standards and flexibility :roll:
