Rotating a Beam System

Hi,

Quick question here. I'm putting together some framing plans for a townhouse and am using the beam system tool, I love it. The question is at my flat roof I want to slope it at 1/4" per foot, can a beam system be oriented easily to match a sloping roof or floor?

I suggest you use a specific plane and lock-align to it.

If you pick your workplane before creating the system or before finishing the sketch of the system you can apply the system to another sloped workplane. If you attempt to do so after creating/finishing a system you won't be able to edit the workplane to use any other workplanes that are not parallel to the one it is created on already.
