added an opening to a floor slab. sketched the lines with the offset line command on the options bar, trimmed all the lines to form a rectangle, added dimensions to lock the geometry of the opening to the beams that frame the opening (opening is 3" narrower than beam to beam centerline). Click finish sketch and the dimensions "disappear" (Don't show up in the main plan view. So I think, "Great! I can lock my openings to the supporting beams and then if i move a beam, the opening will be resized." So I click one of the other openings that I have already sketched and click "Edit". Any dimensions that I add here, show up in the plan view. Is it somewhere written that the first dimensions added don't show up on the plan and later edits do?
I liked being able to constrain the opening to the framing members but certainly would prefer to not have all these dimensions on the final floor plan...

Just trying to understand the functionality.

Hmm only seems to happen with an opening, if you say create a floor and then add dimensions in the sketch afterward they only appear in sketch (which is the expected behavior) I would say it's a bug but Steve might disagree lol :D
