Arrow only ? Where did it go?

Alright, did I miss something. You used to be able to place an arrow and place a space in the text and then click out and the arrow used to stay. Now it doesn't :cry: . Did they trick me and there is a new way to do this or a programming error?

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah, I thought I imagined it too....but apparently I didn't. I think there ought to be a null arrow option too.
