Mtext selection color

I'm sure this'll get moved to some other place, but...

I'm using LDD 2006.
I'm in a love/hate relationship with the new style of text editing. But specifically, when editing Mtext, when selecting certain characters for modification, the default color (blue) doesn't always allow the text to show up well when combined with my black background and/or the color of the text.

I've been through the help menus and tried changing colors both in ACAD and in Windows settings. no luck...

I had forgotten to check that setting. It hasn't solved the problem though. I'm really looking to change the color of that 'selection' function.

My text isn't fading like that anymore (i had that problem once, a while ago, a new driver solved it for me).

I've spoken to a lot of people about this. None of them has found a solution.
It is in the wish-list though.
