View Full Version : Curved walls can't have their elevations modified?

I have a curved retaining wall that is going to rise in height as it cuts farther back into the grade. I never thought about it, but I just noticed that there is not an option for editing the elvations of curved walls. Is a family the only option?

You can create a reference plane and attach the top of the wall to that. If the top of the wall is not a consistent slope (ie a single ref plane won't do the trick) you can use the family option.

I just used a curved void to cut the existing wall and it worked great.

Jon,

You can attach the top and bottom of the wall to a reference line. That reference line can be at an angle. You can also cut an opening into of a curved wall. The opening can overlap the edges of the wall to change the profile of the ends or top/bottom. You can pretty much do everything to a curved wall that you can to a straight wall.
