My mouse sensitivity is not the same in Revit as in other programs and desktop, any reason, setting for this? There seem to be the same difference in w2k and XP. Using latest mouse drivers.
I haven't noticed this in Revit, but in other CAD programs I have seen a difference. It has to do with the drawing area and how it is programmed, for instance, if you turn acceleration off for games in mouse properties, you mouse will act differently in some CAD programs. Check you mouse properties.

Dirk, if you're using a Logitech mouse, you can go to Logitech's website and download a utility that forces the OS to NOT change mouse acceleration for OpenGL. See this thread (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=14628).

Also check your video card drivers, some video cards have seperate settings for the mouse acceleration along with the settings in control panel.
