Sun Arc Graphic

Something I've been meaning to develop further but haven't done so is trying to portray a 3D graphic visual of the sun's arc for a site & locality ~ should be especially useful if you are working on projects outside your locality & need to understand / perceive the conditions

I would like to use this to assist in site appraisal ~ (The example shown is for a UK site read out but you can see the potential usefulness )

Any ideas on how best to progress & use this parametrically ?

I use this (only 2d) as a "north point" as it gives clients a better understanding of where correct orientation should lie

(applicable to southern hemispheres)

Blads, that is great! I have been in the process of making a #d version - but not as good as what Roger has in his post! Roger I am now inspired to finish it off but with revisions!:D
