Plan Regions with Linked Files

Does anyone know if there is an issue/Bug with plan regions and linked files

No matter how much I change the plan region view ranges it seems to make no difference at all to the linked file geommetry ?

We have a situation where we are linking in the structural model but done want to see certian parts of the linked model in 1 particular area.

Is it mirrored? I have had issues with plan regions and mirrored objects.....

There are problems but plan regions transfer across in the linked file.
