Exploding Problems

"I've done the Tutorial and it won't let me do it like it shows"

I've imported a detail from Autocad but it won't let me explode it. It only has 5 layers, has no dimesions or hatch. I've searched the forum for past posts but they didn't really help, any other ideas?

You may have linked it instead of just importing it. Try again this time make sure when you import the file the link box is not checked.
