Walls and the Core

I recently asked the question about just showing the wall core and not the plywood or other material on plan view, Thanks to a couple of you I learned that answer, but now I have a question similar to that with a little twist.

I would like to show the wall core plus stone.

so example of my wall is 1/2" Sheetrock; 3 1/2" stud wall, exterior plywood , and stone.

all I would want to see on my floor plan is the 3 1/2" stud and the stone next to the studs.

What it comes down too is that the floor plans are really simple but the actual walls are complex. Is this possible?

Hey Matt,

Using the 'cut line styles' would work for this condition as well. You would only need to exclude the exterior plywood from your wall style definition & just add that thickness to your exterior finish.

ie. 1/2" sheetrock; 3 1/2" stud wall; 2" stone veneer... then use 'cut line styles to white out the interior finish.
